Dieser kleine Kerl beschwert sich grad, dass
wir ihn geweckt haben. Wirkt fast wie ein Koala, oder? Ist ein aber Faultier
oder hier „Oso perezoso“ (span. Fauler Bär)
Und wenn ich mir´s recht überleg gibt´s ein
Bild von mir nach´m Aufstehen, da schau ich genauso..

Zum Thema:
"Die Zeit vergeht, mein Praktikum ist schon wieder vorbei."
Zumindest war der Blogentwurf so bis heute morgen. Ich dachte, ich hätte heute
meinen letzten Arbeitstag, bin ins Büro gegangen, um nach meinem Scheck zu
fragen, hab mir nochmal meinen Vertrag durchgelesen, ob ich heute (Freitag)
oder morgen (Samstag) meinen letzten Tag habe, um festzustellen, dass ich noch
eine Woche länger hier arbeite. Hatte den Vertrag nie wieder gelesen nach der
Unterschrift vor einigen Monaten und bin immer von 7 statt 8 Wochen ausgegangen..
Ich hatte übrigens schon allen Bescheid gesagt, Miete bis
heute gezahlt und meine Weiterreise ab Sonntag geplant..
Nun ja.. Verpeiler
sind geiler sag ich da nur! :-)
Time goes
past and my internship is about to finish. This was the draft of this post
until this morning. After already planning my next step on my journey (see
further text) and paying rent until today and asking in the office for my
paycheck and telling everybody I´m leaving this weekend, …. I read my contract
again aaaaand noticed that I misread it somehow and have to stay here one more
week.
Well…
that´s me, isn’t it? :-)
Zum Leben
hier:
In den letzten Wochen ist nicht sehr viel passiert hier. Das
absolute Highlight war unser Ausflug nach Bocas del Toros, eine Insellandschaft
an der Karibikküste Panamas. Wir waren dort mit vielen IAESTE Leuten aus Panama
City und hatten ein geiles Wochenende.
Hier sind ein paar Fotos, besser aber ihr schaut euch das
Video an.
There is
not that much to tell about the last week. There have been some CS staying at
my place, I found good Czech beer and we made a greeeeat trip to Bocas
del Toro which is located in the Caribbean sea north-east of Panama.
I actually
indented to go scuba diving, but thanks to all the IAESTE guys from Panama I
wasn´t sober all the weekend so I had to skip it. But we still had an
amazing time:

Bocas del Toro bietet wunderschöne Natur, Strände,
Regenwald, … doch wird es leider ziemlich schnell touristisch erschlossen, so
dass Touren, Party und allgemein Tourismus hier im Vordergrund stehen.
Trotzdem gibt es noch einige unerschlossene Gebiete und
Orte, wie zum Beispiel diese Höhle im Inselinneren. Man wandert für einige
Minuten durch die dunkle Höhle im knöchelhohen Wasser, bleibt mit seinen
Flipflops dauernd im Matsch stecken und sieht ab und zu mal Fledermäuse die an
der Decke hängen bzw. gerade wegfliegen.
Ich habe mir extra neue Flipflops gekauft für die Höhle und
dann sind sie nach dem ersten Schritt im Matsch wieder hin gewesen :-/
Bocas
offers a great nature, nice beaches, … but more and more turns into a touristic
region and thereby loses its magic :-/
There are
still non-touristic places to visit though, e.g. this cave in the interior of
one of the islands. You walk a few minutes in the dark through the muddy water.
Sometimes something drops down from above (and I just hope it wasn´t a bat
shitting on me, but I´m afraid it was..).
Diese Woche haben wir auch einmal gegrillt mit Freunden und Familie. Die Hofer Brodwärscht fehlen aber schon..

Ach und noch etwas: nachdem mir das schon vor einigen Jahren
in England passiert ist, wurde ich nun auch in Panama aus dem Supermarkt raus
geworfen. Barfuß laufen ist also auch hier nicht gestattet hmpf ..
Also to
mention: I got kicked out of the supermarket because of walking without shoes,
again. It happened the first time a few year ago in England, when I decided the
Brits are too boring for that and I have to go to a more open-minded country
but apparently in latino country Panama it´s the same :-) Let´s hope it is just
the American influence and things changes further north ..
Nachdem ich es beim letzten Mal zw. den vielen Partys nicht
geschafft habe, werde ich in ein paar Tagen (Update: in über einer Woche) noch
einmal zum Tauchen nach Bocas del Toro fahren. Dann geht´s weiter nach Costa Rica.
Next plan
is going back to Bocas for scuba diving (which is on the way anyway) and
continue north to Costa Rica.
